Garment Care

Your Refined Revolution garment is made with a lot of love and care using premium quality fabrics. It is important to look after your garment to optimise its lifespan and to keep it looking fabulous!

To assist you in this endeavour we have put together a list of important points to be mindful of in caring for your pieces:

General Care

  • To avoid damage when travelling, we recommend packing your pieces in the re-usable Refined Revolution bag given to you at purchase or any other cover
  • In your closet, hang your pieces on sturdy, thick hangers with all the buttons and zips done up. This will help your garment maintain its shape and remain wrinkle free. Keep away from other garments with details that may cause snagging

Silk

  • This is a natural, delicate fabric that has gone through a dyeing process – so give it extra love and attention!
  • Avoid contact with accessories that may cause snagging
  • Dry clean only – ask your dry cleaner to cover your buttons, zips and any other hardware whilst cleaning and emphasize that the piece should not be ironed or pressed under any circumstances!
  • Steam iron only. Do not iron or apply any extreme heat as pressing can leave shine impressions on the fabric, particularly at the garment seams
  • Keep away from direct sunlight
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not wet

Cotton

  • Our Cotton is the finest quality Egyptian Giza cotton with a 120/2 thread count
  • The luxurious nature of the fabric requires it to be cleaned with care
  • Gentle hand wash or gentle machine wash on a cold cycle is recommended
  • For pieces which don’t contain elastic, air dry flat or on a low and gentle tumble dry cycle. For pieces with elastic (e.g. on the waistband), air dry flat and do not put in the dryer
  • Do not wring dry under any circumstances, this can cause permanent damage to your garment.
  • Iron on reverse side only, and avoid ironing on seams or applying too much pressure on seams to prevent shine impressions being left on the fabric
  • Iron with a warm iron, however do not apply extreme heat or pressure while doing so as this can leave shine impressions on the darker colours especially

Stretch Suiting

  • Our suiting is equally comfortable and durable as it is refined, however, it still requires careful care
  • Dry Clean only – ask your dry cleaner to cover your buttons, zips and any other hardware whilst cleaning
  • Steam iron only. Do not iron or apply any extreme heat as pressing can leave shine impressions on the fabric
  • Do not bleach
  • Limited amounts of gentle spot cleaning using water can be done if needed

Classic Suiting

  • Our suiting is equally comfortable and durable as it is refined, however, it still requires careful care
  • Machine wash cold on a very gentle cycle OR dry clean – ask your dry cleaner to cover your buttons, zips and any other hardware whilst cleaning
  • Air dry flat in shade and do not put in the dryer
  • Steam iron or iron at medium heat however do not apply any extreme heat or pressure
  • Do not bleach
  • Limited amounts of gentle spot cleaning using water can be done if needed
